Racine & Wisconsin Parental Choice

The state of Wisconsin manages three separate school choice programs that allow eligible students to attend a participating private school. Trinity Lutheran School participates in three of the programs, Racine Parental Choice Program (RPCP) and the Wisconsin Parental Choice Program (WPCP) and the Milwaukee Parental Choice Program (MPCP).

Student eligibility, which is established by state law, varies for each program. Student eligibility is a combination of student residence, income and prior year attendance. Below are important dates related to the open application periods for both new and returning families. New applicants will need to provide proof of income and residency.  Returning applicants will need to provide proof of residency.

General inquiries and online application information, can be found on the Wisconsin DPI Private School Choice Programs website. Racine Parental Choice Schools are required by Wisconsin State statute to post a copy of the schools accountability Report Card. In 2015-16 the WI Department of Public Instruction implemented a new test and accountability system. You can view that report card here.
